Horsemanship Development
Private Lessons: These lessons are a time for you and your horse to puzzle solve with the complete attention of the instructor. The lessons will be On Line* or FreeStyle**, from level 1-3, and a minimum of 1 hour, maximum of 3 hours. Special packages for continuing students are available.
*On Line means building communication with your horse while you are on the ground, using your rope.
**FreeStyle means riding without concentrated reins.
Group Lessons: There will be 2-3 students per lesson, and they will range from 1-3 hours. Lessons will be On Line or FreeStyle (or a combination of the two Savvy’s), from levels 1-3.
Trail Rides: If you love trail riding as many of us in Michigan do, we can set up a day to meet somewhere and go on a trail ride together. Numbers will be limited, and decided on by Meggie. You must be assessed by Meggie before setting up a trail ride.
Playdays*: Monthly playdays and Parelli Game tournaments are a great option for your playgroup. Having an instructor there to organize and lead the playday or games is a great asset! No specific instruction will take place; this is a day for fun with your horse! The instructor will be there to help set up and run the Parelli games, or activities for the playday.
*If you have a great location for a playday, contact Meggie to set one up at your barn!
Video Coaching: Send in a 10-20 minute video of you playing with your horse, addressing the puzzle you would like help solving. This is a great way to get help from further away! I will contact you via email or phone (your choice) to help you through your challenge.
